La Nostra Storia

La Locanda means "gathering place"

When you visit us you are likely to meet many patrons who dine with us frequently. Ask, and they'll tell you that they come for the consistently delicious cuisine, generous portions and daily specials that are unique as well as creative - all at an excellent value. They are also likely to tell you that La Locanda has a friendly, comfortable atmosphere where the warmth is infectious and it's not uncommon to find yourself laughing and conversing with perfect strangers.

Cono and Maria Colombo are the reason that this Williamsburg Italian restaurant has become so well-regarded. They share with you their abundant warmth, friendliness and customs of their hometown, Teggiano, Italy - not to mention the incredible cuisine. Their passion for their customers is evident in every detail. Cono starts early each morning preparing homemade wheatbread, tantalizing sauces and daily specials. Maria makes sure that the tastefully decorated rooms, appropriately styled for each season, are ready to greet each customer. Other family members such as Maria's father and children, Rachele, Michael and Carmine add their own personality and flair to the establishment.

Come join the family. Discover why publications like Newsday, The Daily News and Time Out, New York have fallen in love with our cuisine. Make La Locanda your gathering place.
